Construction of competency evaluation model of coal mine enterprises’ middle managers based on AHP

Abstract:

The competency of middle managers of Coal mine enterprises greatly influences the production efficiency of coal mine enterprises, coal mine safety and transformation development. This paper expounds the concept of competency ,and behavioral event interview method is adopted to define the middle managers’ competency items. Using the AHP method to sort competency items and constructing the competency evaluation model of coal mine enterprises’ middle managers. The model includes four aspects which are personal characteristics, professional ability, management ability, risk identification and control ability. This paper discussing the model application in the human resource management of coal mine enterprise, and providing references for the management of the coal mine enterprises’ middle managers.
